Arsenal XI vs Manchester United: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup, injury latest for Premier League

Gunners handed major double injury boost ahead of facing Man United

Arsenal will make a late decision on the fitness of Riccardo Calafiori and Piero Hincapie ahead of their clash with Manchester United .

Mikel Arteta's side host a United side on Sunday who are playing with renewed confidence after the arrival of Michael Carrick.

They have also had a week off to prepare for their trip to north London , but Arteta's options could be bolstered.

Calafiori and Hincapie both made their return to full training on Friday and are pushing to make the squad this weekend.

Those decisions will be made after Arsenal train on Saturday and should they be involved, it will mean only Max Dowman is currently unavailable.

Calafiori has been out for a month and is unlikely to come straight into the starting lineup even if he is fit, so Jurrien Timber could be preferred at left-back again.

Gabriel, Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard did not start in midweek against Inter Milan but are set to come back into the side here.

A brace at the San Siro for Gabriel Jesus might not be enough for him to keep his place after Viktor Gyokeres scored off the bench.

Arteta has kept his faith in Gyokeres in recent weeks, keen to give him the chance to come good, and it would be no surprise if he got the nod again.

There is a tough call to be made on the left wing, where Leandro Trossard has been impressive this season but Gabriel Martinelli looked incredibly sharp off the bench against Inter.

Predicted Arsenal XI (4-3-3): Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber; Zubimendi, Rice, Odegaard; Saka, Gyokeres, Martinelli
