Arsenal fans spot Declan Rice's X-rated reaction to frustrating Nottingham Forest draw

The star midfielder could not hide his anger at the full-time whistle

Arsenal have increased their Premier League title lead over Manchester City, but not every player was thrilled after a 0-0 draw at Nottingham Forest.

The Gunners squad would have watched on earlier on Saturday as City were comfortably beaten 2-0 by Manchester United in a remarkable derby at lunchtime.

Arsenal were at the City Ground for the evening kick-off, knowing a win would take them nine points clear of their biggest title rivals.

But for the second game in a row, Arsenal were held to a goalless draw .

A disjointed performance against Liverpool earlier in January saw the current Premier League champions earn a deserved share of the spoils.

But Saturday evening’s stalemate in Nottingham felt like a real opportunity missed for the Gunners, who racked up 2.37xG compared to their hosts’ 0.33xG.

Arsenal had chances as Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka both went close, but they drew a blank.

Walking off after the game, TV cameras Declan Rice was spotted shaking his head and venting to himself as he looked to the sky.

Rookie lip-readers on X suggested Rice was saying: “F****** s***, every f****** time.”

The draw did see Arsenal extend their lead to seven points, which could be cut to four on Sunday if Aston Villa beat Everton, and they remain clear favourites to get their hands on the Premier League trophy for the first time since 2004.

The good news continues for Arsenal , who are now nine points better off compared to their corresponding league fixtures last season.
