Declan Rice described Arsenal ’s performance as ‘f***ing s***’ after their goalless draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Manchester City’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford in Saturday’s early kick-off gave Arsenal the chance to go nine points clear at the top of the Premier League .
However, Mikel Arteta ’s side were unable to find a way past a well-organised Forest side and the draw has put the Gunners seven points in front of City and Villa, who are at home to Everton on Sunday.
Rice cut a frustrated figure after the full-time whistle and as he made his way over to Arsenal’s travelling fans at The City Ground, television cameras clearly caught the midfielder saying: ‘F***ing shit, every f***ing time.’

Meanwhile, Arteta is adamant that Arsenal created enough chances to beat Forest.
‘We obviously wanted to win the game and we knew the game would be tough and very close as well, with the way they play, we created four big chances,’ Arteta said

‘It’s happening all around the league to every single team. We have to improve and do better and especially when you create four big chances like the ones we created you have to put them away.’
