Guehi closing in on Man City move, Callum Wilson speaking to Everton and Celtic – transfer round-up

There was big news in the Premier League ahead of the weekend’s action as Oliver Glasner said Marc Guehi was ‘in the final stages’ of a deal to Manchester City .

Glasner dropped a bombshell press conference – to put it lightly – in which he revealed the Guehi news, as well as admitting he will definitely leave the club in the summer, and that Jean-Philippe Mateta could be sold if the price is right.

It was a bad day for Crystal Palace fans who found out that their best player and captain Guehi, as well as their manager, would both be leaving the club.

According to the BBC , City are reportedly close to finalising a deal worth £20 million for the centre-back, a bargain, explained by the fact that Guehi’s contract is up in the summer.

According to Sky Sports , West Ham striker Callum Wilson is in talks with both Celtic and Everton over a potential move away from London.

West Ham are having a disastrous season and Wilson has only started eight Premier League games. Despite scoring four league goals, and being their second-highest scorer, manager Nuno Espirito Santo is not a fan of the Englishman.

Wilson only joined the club in the summer but already it seems as though his time there is set to come to an abrupt end.

Wolves have confirmed midfielder Marshall Munetsi has joined Paris FC on loan for the rest of the season.

Munetsi has played 13 league games this season but has not featured at all or even been in a squad since the start of December due to injury.

The Zimbabwean has only played for new manager Rob Edwards twice and moves to France with his parent club bottom of the Premier League and 14 points adrift of safety.
