Thomas Frank is facing mounting calls to be sacked following Tottenham ’s 2-1 home defeat against struggling West Ham .
Fans turned on the under-fire former Brentford boss and chanted ‘you’re getting sacked in the morning’ after Callum Wilson struck a stoppage-time winner for relegation-threatened West Ham in a 2-1 victory.
The pressure on Frank had cranked up after an FA Cup exit to Aston Villa extended their terrible run of form, but the midweek arrival of Conor Gallagher offered a much-needed lift for the under-fire Danish coach.
Former Chelsea star Gallagher was thrown straight into the mix but his new team found themselves behind in the 15th minute following Crysencio Summerville’s deflected effort.
Cristiano Romero appeared to have at least earned a point when he equalised in the 64th minute but Callum Wilson provided an injury time sting in the tail to heap more pressure on the beleaguered Frank.
Current Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has been installed as the favourite, just 24 hours after he accounted his intention to leave Selhurst Park at the end of the season.
The highly-rated Austrian, who has been tipped to take over at Manchester United as the club’s next permanent boss, guided the Eagles to FA Cup success last season, but had not agreed a contract extension at Selhurst Park.

Glasner, 51, arrived at Palace in 2024, having won the Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt.
‘My decision has already been taken months ago,’ Glasner told a press conference.
‘I had a meeting (with Steve Parish) in the October international break, we had dinner and a very long talk and I told him I would not sign a new contract for Crystal Palace.
‘We agreed at that time that it was best to keep it between us, this is how confidential we work together, that we could keep it between us for three months.’

Glasner is glad to have been able to give everyone at the club a sense of ‘clarity’ moving forwards, with the Palace boss also confirming captain Marc Guehi was in the ‘final stages’ of completing his move to Manchester City.
