Oliver Glasner hits out at Crystal Palace board and says he feels ‘abandoned’

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner says he feels “abandoned completely” by the club .

Glasner, who confirmed he would be leaving Palace at the end of the season when his contract runs out, hit out at the decision to agree to sell Marc Guehi to Manchester City the day before their game against Sunderland.

Guehi was not involved as Palace were beaten 2-1 at the Stadium of Light, meaning the Eagles are now without a win in their last ten games in all competitions.

“We feel that we have been abandoned completely,” Glasner told Sky Sports after the defeat.

“Selling our captain one day before a game.

“That makes me really upset today.

“I heard yesterday at 10.30[am] we are selling Marc. Then we have to deal with it.

“No team would do this.”

Asked if he will see the season out at Palace, Glasner responded: “I don’t know.

“We will stick together. I will never step back.

“It would help if we have a little bit of support.”
