The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for Eze this summer, with the Palace playmaker's future being the subject of speculation for several months. Eze is still being mentioned as a target for Arsenal, despite reports that a £68million release clause in his contract expired earlier this month. Now, a fresh update has emerged on Eze's future which may be impacted by a deal the Gunners are looking to complete. Football Transfers have reported that Eze is still wanted by Arsenal, with the Gunners planning to make a bid for the 27-year-old 12-cap England international. However, it has been claimed that a move for Eze will not happen until Arsenal practically seal a deal confirming the exit of Fabio Vieira. Sporting director, Andrea Berta, is currently holding talks with Stuttgart over a proposed deal for Vieira, who spent last season on loan at Porto. It has also been suggested that Arsenal may have to ramp up their efforts in signing Eze if they wish to bring the player to the Emirates Stadium. The report goes on to indicate that Eze wants to know where his future lies before Palace take on Liverpool in Sunday's Community Shield at Wembley Stadium. Arsenal would reportedly be willing to offer around €60million (£52million) to try and sign Eze this summer. The Gunners have already made six new signings - and could make Eze their seventh before the September 1 deadline. Viktor Gyokeres , Martin Zubimendi, Noni Madueke, Cristhian Mosquera, Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga have all been signed by the Gunners ahead of their Premier League challenge.
