During Victor Lindelof's time at Manchester United, his wife , Maja, was bestowed with the title of 'The Premier League's hottest WAG' - and she frequently caught attention throughout his eight years at Old Trafford.

Despite Lindelof spending considerable time in the Premier League, from 2017, when the Red Devils splashed out £30million to bring the Swedish international from Benfica , it wasn't until 2023 that his wife was first given the notable label.

The artificial intelligence app AttractivenessTest.com determined that Maja boasts an attractiveness rating of 9.7/10. However, despite receiving the accolade, she previously revealed on her blog that she loathes being labelled a 'WAG'.

"I am so sick and tired of people trying to make me smaller," she wrote. "Tired of people not knowing what's important in life. I am an entrepreneur. I have my own company and soon I will start one more. If that is with money or love is none of your business."

As owner of fashion brand lisbonneatelier, Maja has built an impressive career for herself and this year moved from Manchester to the Midlands after her husband joined Aston Villa .

Villa emerged victorious in securing Lindelof's services this summer after interest in him from several clubs. He expressed his excitement on deadline day, telling Villa TV: "Obviously it's massive club, and I was super excited when I heard that the club wanted me.

"I spoke to my wife and we felt it was a good move for us as a family and for me as a player. I'm super, super happy and proud to be part of this football club." Lindelof is expected to take to the field in Villa's home match against Man United on Sunday afternoon, marking his first encounter with his old team since leaving last summer.

After making his first league start in their 3-2 victory over West Ham last weekend, his previous ties with United could be a game-changer, Villa manager Unai Emery suggests. The Spanish boss said: "He has experience and he is a very good professional. He has qualities too.

"He is still being young to play football. We signed him in the last moments of the transfer window, because when we identified that possibility, I wanted in that moment everything that he did last week [vs West Ham ].

“In 90 minutes he did everything I expected from him. He was really fantastic. Every day it is easy how we are working because his adaptation is so quick, and everything we need, through his experiences, he can give us.

"He gave us experience before, but maybe the best moment he had until now with us was the match at West Ham. He played a fantastic match. Now, he has shown us his level. He can’t stop now, and he must keep it!

"He is very mature, of course. This is very important. He is responsible too, and he has experiences, and hopefully he can help us a lot for the rest of the season."

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle ahead of the 2025/26 season, saving members £192 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.
