Darts sensation Beau Greaves has admitted she would happily accept a spot in the Premier League if she is offered one. The 21-year-old earned a boost in profile when she defeated Luke Littler last month on her way to the World Youth Final , and talk of a continued rise has followed.
Among those leading the conversation, five-time world champion Raymond van Barneveld has predicted that impressing at the PDC World Championship next month would seal a place as one of the eight Premier League players. Luke Humphries won the series in 2025, beating Luke Littler in the final, and was joined by Stephen Bunting, Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall, Michael van Gerwen, and Chris Dobey.
Greaves is sceptical that she is on the verge of a Premier League place but the Doncaster-born starlet could not overstate how exciting the prospect would be. The rising star is appreciative of the compliments she has received.
"It’s just nice – they don’t have to say that sort of stuff. It’s sweet for me. I watched all these players growing up," Greaves said when told about Van Barneveld's comments.
“I can’t imagine I would get in the Premier League unless I had a crazy run but I wouldn’t say no! But maybe it’s a bit much for me. It would make it exciting, wouldn’t it?
“People go on about the Premier League being flat and boring, I always end up watching it every week.
“It would be amazing to play in it. I don’t think I deserve it. It’s nice that people say good things about me.”
Greaves has admitted her recent win over Littler has provided a boost. "When I beat Luke, it did give me a big confidence boost," she said. "I suppose I've just lacked confidence over the years, and I've got a little bit of it now."

The three-time women's world champion next faces off against Michael van Gerwen on television in their opening group match of the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton. The Dutchman said in 2017 that he did not believe a woman would ever be able to “compete with the top men players”.
Greaves is now out to prove him wrong, but suggested she used to think the same. “To be honest I don’t read much. I said that a few years ago as well. We’ve both said the same thing!
“Some of the men don’t like playing women. Some don’t care.
“Since getting my Tour Card I’ve had a bit more belief. I know I can beat anybody. I’ve got the game for it, it’s just doing it at the right time.
