Confirmed Man United XI vs Wolves: Ayden Heaven keeps his place

Ruben Amorim has made just one change to his Manchester United line-up for tonight’s match against Wolves at Molineux.

Senne Lammens is in goal.

The back three comprises Noussair Mazraoui , Ayden Heaven and Luke Shaw .

It was thought Matthijs de Ligt would return today , but that is not the case. Harry Maguire is still injured. Lisandro Martinez is working his way back to fitness from the bench. Leny Yoro is once again on the bench.

It is a strange decision from head coach Amorim to start Heaven ahead of Yoro after the former had to be replaced by the latter at half-time against West Ham on Thursday following a shaky 45 minutes.

Amad and Diogo Dalot are the wing-backs. January signing Patrick Dorgu is still struggling to win back his starting berth under Amorim, who seems to prefer his compatriot.

Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro are once again the central midfielders.

Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte miss out again as speculation about their departures continues to mount.

Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount are the front three.

This means Joshua Zirkzee has lost his place after starting the last two games in Benjamin Sesko’s absence.

The Dutchman’s omission will once again fuel speculation that his days at Old Trafford are numbered.

On the bench are Altay Bayindir, Patrick Dorgu, Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, Yoro, Mainoo, Ugarte, Shea Lacey and Zirkzee.

Kick-off at Molineux is at 8pm.
