Cristhian Mosquera has sent a message after being forced to leave the pitch during Arsenal's 2-0 victory over Brentford. The ex-Valencia centre-back had to exit the game in the first half on Wednesday due to an awkward landing after a tackle.
The 21-year-old defender shared a series of caption-less photos on his Instagram story, one of which featured the song "Funky – Eres Mi Bendición" and "gio. and Aaron Cole – GOD'S TIMING". Arsenal now face a tense wait regarding the defender's fitness as their defensive options have been dwindling due to a series of injuries.
Mikel Arteta has already had to cope without the duo of William Saliba and Gabriel, who have both recently suffered injuries. Gabriel is set to spend weeks on the bench after picking up a thigh injury while on international duty with Brazil.
Meanwhile, the French international missed the last two matches after sustaining an injury in the lead-up to Sunday's London derby clash with Chelsea .
On Thursday, Mosquera took to Instagram to share two action shots from his 44-minute stint at the Emirates Stadium.
Mosquera was forced to leave the field after contesting a header with Kevin Schade just before half-time, and speaking after the 2-0 win, the Gunners' head coach confessed that there is uncertainty about the 21-year-old's fitness.
"Yes, obviously it's never good news," he said.
"Declan had to come off, we don't know. We have to see tomorrow what he's got. And Mosquera is the other one that is out.

"Obviously we have Gabriel and Willy are out as well. So we have to adapt."
Mosquera featured in the 1-1 stalemate with Chelsea at the weekend, partnering Piero Hincapie for the first time as deputy.
The duo retained their places in the starting XI for Brentford's trip to north London.
However, Mosquera's setback presents another problem with Arsenal holding a five-point advantage at the Premier League summit.
Arteta continued: "[Rice] can walk. He cannot play.
"The thing is playing a lot of minutes, but as well when. Now we play Wednesday night and we have to play Saturday morning as well.
"We can play minutes, but if they can please give us just a little bit more time to recover and to make the well-being of these players a little bit easier, that would be great.
