David Luiz ‘locked lover in hotel with bodyguard who threatened to kill her’

FORMER Chelsea ace David Luiz has been accused of locking his alleged threesome lover in a hotel room where his bodyguard allegedly threatened to kill her.

Social worker Francisca Karollainy Barbosa Cavalcante claims the footballer ordered a bodyguard to confine her on July 20, where she was allegedly shown photos of her family as threats were made against their lives.

Her lawyer released details of the complaint on Wednesday, September 17, with the accusations formally registered in a new police report the day before.

Cavalcante, from Fortaleza, Brazil, claims the man told her he would kill her and her relatives, while displaying pictures of her son, father, mother, brother and nephews.

David Luiz’s press office has flatly rejected the claims, insisting: “He does not have personal security, neither today nor during his previous spells at Fortaleza or with teams in England, France and Rio de Janeiro.”

The allegations mark the latest twist in an increasingly bitter legal battle between the two.

Back in August, Cavalcante filed an earlier report accusing Luiz of threats following what she said was an extramarital affair.

She claims the row erupted when she refused to take part in a threesome.

Luiz, who is engaged to long-term partner Bruna Loureiro, has strongly denied both the affair and the threats, responding by filing a lawsuit for slander and defamation.

Brazilian police have since seized Cavalcante's phone as part of the probe.

Screenshots allegedly sent by Luiz formed part of her initial complaint, with one warning her about his “money and power.”

Another message allegedly threatened her son , saying he could “pay the consequences.”

A third chilling note reportedly read: “I can simply make you disappear.”

Cavalcante also claimed the ex-Premier League star offered her £14,000 to stay quiet once she went public.

According to local media, the pair first met online when Luiz allegedly invited her to a Fortaleza hotel.

His legal team, however, say there is no record of their supposed stay at the Magna Praia Hotel and insist he never met her – though they admit he exchanged brief online messages with her.

His lawyer said Luiz “reaffirms his commitment to the truth and trusts the facts will be duly clarified.”

David Luiz is best known for his multiple stints playing in the Premier League - twice for Chelsea and once during an uninspiring run at Arsenal.

Between 2011 to 2015 he won the Champions League , Europa League and an FA Cup during his initial run in England .

When he returned after a successful few years at Paris St Germain, Luiz added a league title and another FA Cup to his resume.

He has also notched up 57 caps for Brazil .
