Dorgu Gets 8, Cunha With 7.5 | Manchester United Players Rated In Tough Loss Vs Aston Villa

Manchester United clashed heads with Aston Villa at Villa Park earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League . The Red Devils made a decent start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 45th minute when Morgan Rogers scored with a superb strike. However, Matheus Cunha equalised for the visitors in the latter stages of the first half as the two sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

Rogers scored again for the West Midlands club in the 57th minute as Man United ended up suffering a tough 2-1 loss at Villa Park.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player fared during the clash against the Villans.

Lammens made two solid saves at the back and failed to keep a clean sheet in both halves.

CB: Leny Yoro –  6/10

He cleared the danger when he could but offered very little going forward.

CB: Ayden Heaven – 7/10

Heaven performed his defensive duties well and was good on the ball

CB: Luke Shaw – 6.5/10

He did his fair share of defending but failed to keep the opposition attackers quiet.

RM: Diogo Dalot – 7/10

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.

CM: Manuel Ugarte – 6.5/10

Ugarte anchored the midfield well but struggled to impress going forward.

CM: Bruno Fernandes – 6.5/10

He caught the eye at times but there was no goal for him.

LM: Patrick Dorgu – 8/10

Dorgu came back to defend when needed and had a few bright moments in the opponent’s half.

RAM: Mason Mount – 6.5/10

He was not shy of having a strike at goal.

LAM: Matheus Cunha – 7.5/10

Cunha was a decent contributor in the final third and managed to score in the dying embers of the first half.

ST: Benjamin Sesko – 6/10

He was quiet for most of his time on the field.
