England won their penultimate World Cup qualifier against Serbia on Thursday night as superb strikes from Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze lit up Wembley.

The Arsenal winger struck on the half hour mark, sending a vicious volley past the Serbian goalkeeper to nudge England into the ascendancy. The Three Lions probed after Saka's opener to add to their tally but were unable to do so until the final moments when Eberechi Eze bagged a stunning second.

Here, Mirror Football rates Thomas Tuchel's men as they now turn their attention to Sunday's trip to Albania...

Yet to concede in this campaign. Another comfortable night for England’s No1.

Affectionately called “Reecie” by Thomas Tuchel. No wonder. Does not let his manager down.

He really looks the part. Tall, commanding, composed. Deserves to start next summer.

His composure, experience and reading of the game make him so important.

Left back is such a problem position for England and this was a decent audition.

The No6 position - anchoring the midfield - is now his to lose. Busy and strong.

Marauding midfield display. No surprise he delivered a free kick which led to a goal.

Another outstanding performance from England’s magnificent No7. So efficient and ruthless.

Lively, impressive and strong. This was him rising to the challenge of keeping his place.

Very frustrating night. You cannot fault his effort but nothing came off for him.

Often had to drop deep in search of the ball with little service and chances.

Eberechi Eze - 7

Phil Foden - 7

Jude Bellingham - 7

Jordan Henderson - 6
