European teams who can secure World Cup qualification this week

As host nations, the United States, Canada and Mexico have sealed automatic qualification for the 2026 World Cup .

More teams can book their tickets for the World Cup finals in the penultimate round of qualifiers this week.

Portugal will secure their place in the finals with victory over Ireland on Thursday. The Selecao can also qualify with a draw if Hungary suffer defeat against Armenia .

The Netherlands have enjoyed an excellent qualifying campaign, picking up 16 points from six games. Oranje will qualify if they beat Poland on Friday.

Norway will reach their first World Cup since 1998 with victory against Estonia provided Italy do not triumph over Moldova on Thursday.
