Gibbs-White was close to a switch to London last week when Tottenham Hotspur activated a £60 million buyout clause in his contract. Forest are reportedly displeased with what they deem an unlawful approach from their Premier League counterparts, yet Spurs' interest persists. It's been reported that Gibbs-White is eager to have his future sorted before Nuno Espirito Santo's side depart for a summer training camp in Portugal on Monday. Nonetheless, the 25-year-old set aside the whispers as he featured for the first half of his team's goalless draw with Monaco at Chesterfield's SMH Group Stadium. "No one is unsettled or rattled. Morgan is a professional. He is here today and has been training all week," Aina told Nottinghamshire Live . "He is a professional. He is doing his job. Whatever is going on, that's up to him. But everyone is happy with him and we're all training and working hard, just like normal." Reds fans greeted Gibbs-White with a resounding cheer when his name was announced before the match against the Ligue 1 team. Following his warm-down at half-time, the crowd serenaded him with chants as he left the pitch. Gibbs-White acknowledged the affection with a heart-shaped hand gesture.
