Gary Neville is wrong - Man City have something Arsenal and Liverpool don't in title race

Gary Neville has been in the game more than long enough to know better. The former England and Manchester United defender turned pundit believes the title is a two-horse race between Liverpool and Arsenal.
He's hardly sticking his neck out here, given these two clubs finished first and second last season. While respective managers Arne Slot and Mikel Arteta have the two best squads in the top flight. But Neville's decision to rule Manchester City out of the equation is still a dangerous one.
There are several reasons for this: City just happened to be managed by arguably the best boss of all time, in Pep Guardiola. The deposed champions are also smarting from seeing Liverpool take their crown last season.
This could well be Guardiola's final season in Manchester, so he will be desperate to make his club top dogs again.
Arsenal have little or no recent history of winning the biggest trophies. Arteta continues to be the bridesmaid, instead of the bride. And then there is the small matter of a certain Erling Haaland.

The bottom line is they have been there and done it on so many occasions.
And no amount of spending from either Liverpool or Arsenal can buy such that same wealth of experience City still have in the bank.
