🔥 Haaland equals Ronaldo record - in much faster time

There comes a time when you run out of superlatives when it comes to describing footballers at the highest level, with Manchester City star Erling Haaland once again getting his name on the scoresheet across what is already a ludicrous 2025/26 season.

The dominant Norwegian centre-forward has been in some of the best form of his already impressive career this season as City ramp up their title challenge, slamming home from close range to put Pep Guardiola's side one-nil up in the 6th minute.

With that strike, Haaland now sits on 37 goals in 28 matches this season for club and country, and it's this type of form that has many fans and pundits shifting the Citizens into the category of Premier League title favourite.

Impressively, Haaland has now scored against 12 Premier League sides this season before reaching the halfway point of the current campaign, while this strike (his 148th for the club) now sees him level with Man City legend Francis Lee.

Further still, Haaland's 103 Premier League goals equal that of Cristiano Ronaldo's tally for Manchester United, while needing 122 fewer matches to pull level with the footballing icon.

On this level of form, how many more records does he have in him?
