In-form Euro giants view Man Utd whiz as a ‘perfect fit’ for their system a January approach imminent

Among Joshua Zirkzee’s suitors heading into the January transfer window is AS Roma, who are willing to offer the forward a route back to Serie A.

Amorim has called upon his No.11 to play in just four of the opening 11 Premier League matches whilst leaving him on the bench as an unused option for seven full games.

Zirkzee’s time on the pitch has totalled a mere 82 minutes , and his cameos have not exceeded the 10-minute mark since September.

Alas, it came as no surprise to supporters when reports surfaced detailing Zirkzee’s desire to leave.

While not actively forcing a move, the player is growing increasingly disgruntled behind the scenes at his lack of action.

There is hope he could be granted more minutes amid Benjamin Sesko’s injury absence, as well as when Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo depart for AFCON. Even still, it’s only temporary, and he’s seeking assurances that he’d continue to play throughout the second half of the term.
