Jack Grealish scored Everton's winner at Bournemouth and celebrated by kissing the badge as he hailed the Everton fanbase who "have been so good to me."

The playmaker, on loan from Manchester City , came through the ranks at Aston Villa but underlined his commitment and affection for the Toffees with his celebration. Everton are the fourth club of Grealish's career and he's been a fan favourite wherever he's gone.

He's been offered the chance to revive his career on Merseyside after falling down the pecking order in Manchester. Grealish has repaid Everton's faith in him and the club have the option to sign him permanently for £50million in the summer.

His goal 12 minutes from time owed to a deflection before he ran off to celebrate in front of the travelling fans and made his love for them known.

Grealish said: "All the teams I've played on loan for, even at Notts County, I've was so lucky to have a good connection with the fanbase. Aston Villa was brilliant, obviously I'm an Aston Villa fan. I go to City and I have such a good connection there, and now here too. I'm lucky that I've had such great clubs and fanbases, and this is another one. They have been so good to me."

The City loanee has come up with a club-high four assists - and is just one off the Premier League's best. However Jordan Pickford told Grealish that he was playing one of his worst games at Bournemouth , only for him to come up with the decisive moment.

The match winner said: "Today I think at the start of the second half they wanted more from me. I don't think I played that well. And then Pickers came up to me and said, "That was your worst game and you got the winner." They were singing my name before the goal, so they wanted more from me and I gave it to them."

Everton responded impressively to their hammering by Newcastle at the weekend. Less than a fortnight ago and they were winning at Manchester United and David Moyes insists they are still setting their sights on Europe.

"We've been away at Old Trafford and now here at Bournemouth, so that is really positive," he said. "We want to keep going. I'd really like to try to challenge the top boys and keep ourselves near Europe if I can. But we are always looking over our shoulder because the teams below are never that far away."
