Kobbie Mainoo told to 'get out' of Man Utd amid transfer talk as agreement reached

Alan Shearer has urged Kobbie Mainoo to consider quitting Manchester United , citing the midfielder's struggle for regular game-time. The England international is yet to be handed a single Premier League start this season and has been limited to 11 substitute appearances under head coach Ruben Amorim.
During Monday night's thrilling 4-4 draw vs Bournemouth at Old Trafford, Mainoo once again entered the game from the bench, receiving a rousing ovation from the home supporters. The 20-year-old has been the subject of intense transfer speculation in recent months, with the January window looming on the horizon.
Chelsea , West Ham and Napoli are among the clubs reportedly circling for Mainoo's signature. United are, though, said to have no intention of allowing their academy graduate to depart just yet.
However, Shearer believes a parting of ways could benefit all concerned parties.
"Clearly the manager doesn't fancy Kobbie Mainoo," Shearer said in an interview with Betfair. "Because if you can't get into a team when they're really struggling, then there's an issue.
"And I guess it looks from the outside as if a move would be better off for all parties.
"This is not the first time we've seen that Manchester United players are not fitting into what the manager wants. And he hasn't been afraid to get rid of them or let them go out on loan or sell them - and that looks as if it's going to be the case for him.
"I don't know, I'm not inside the club, I don't know what his attitude's like. But I guess, looking in from the outside, then it would be best for both parties if he could get out and play some football in January and onwards.
"Whether that's on a loan or whether that's a permanent deal, then we'll have to wait and see. But clearly, if you're not playing, you have to look at the situation and get out."

When quizzed about Mainoo's limited playing time this season, Amorim has been candid about team choices.
"I see him [Mainoo] as a starter like the other players," Amorim said last month. "I have to make a choice and then - in the end - it's not been Kobbie.
"In the future, I don't know. Again, I always think the same thing with Casemiro. [He] was not playing and then he plays. I just want to win games. I don't care who's playing."
United legend Paul Scholes echoed Shearer's sentiments , suggesting that Mainoo might be better served seeking opportunities elsewhere. "The kid [Mainoo] is being ruined, not being played in a team that can't control a game of football," Scholes posted on Instagram in response to Amorim's recent remarks about Mainoo.
"Hate seeing home grown players leave. But it's probably best for him now, enough is enough."
