Liam Rosenior will have mixed emotions after learning Chelsea’s FA Cup draw

Blues head coach Liam Rosenior will have mixed emotions after learning Chelsea’s FA Cup draw for the fourth round.

The full draw took place last night ahead of the Liverpool game, and there was many teams that Chelsea could have come up against.

The chances of Rosenior meeting a team he used to manage was very slim, but they’ve only gone and done just that, haven’t they? Chelsea have been drawn away to Hull City in the fourth round of the FA Cup , and I am pretty sure the gaffer will be having mixed feelings on going back to his former club and back to that stadium where he stood in the dugout for two years.

As a player as well, Hull City is where Rosenior spent the most amount of time at, or at least made the most appearances at, between 2010 and 2015. It was his second last club he played for before retiring from the game and moving into coaching.

The full draw, as you can see above, will take place on Valentines Day this year – maybe that has some hidden meaning behind it for Rosenior returning to his former club.

But all that matters here of course, is that Rosenior and Chelsea get the win and advance to the next stage of the competition, because this is not the worst draw they could have got given at all.

A former Chelsea player who has also worked with Liam Rosenior before, has told Blues fans what to expect from his style of play going forward.

Meanwhile, in his first match for Chelsea , Rosenior had to remind his wingers of their duty after the starting options completed zero crosses early in the game.
