Lionel Messi, Rodrigo De Paul, and Luis Suarez thanked fans in Hyderabad during the second leg of The GOAT Tour of India
A fter the riots in Kolkata, where the event at Salt Lake Stadium ended in chaos, Lionel Messi continued his GOAT tour of India in Hyderabad , at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
The refined experience was a contrast to what had happened previously, and the Argentine number 10 was grateful to the fans in attendance.

During the first stage of his tour, chaos reigned supreme. What began as excitement to see the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner 14 years after his last visit ended in anger. After paying around 12,000 rupees ($133) and not being able to see Leo during his brief 22-minute appearance at Salt Lake Stadium, the crowd turned on the organizers.
This resulted in broken seats, debris on the field, and an organizer who was arrested and forced to refund the money after the public outcry.
However, this changed when he arrived in Hyderabad for the second leg of his tour. There, he participated in activities with children and young people as part of his work as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, watched a 7-a-side exhibition match, and exchanged passes with Telangana Chief Minister Ravanth Reddy. After touring the stadium, kicking balls, and receiving the support of the people, Leo sent his sincere thanks to his fans:
" Thank you very much for all your affection. It's an honor for us to be able to spend these days here in India with you, so I'm truly grateful. Thank you so much ," said Messi, receiving a standing ovation.
His Inter Miami teammates, Luis Suarez and Rodrigo de Paul , were also present and took the opportunity to imitate their captain and thank the audience:
" I've enjoyed a lot. This has been a very special night. Thank you so much for your love and affection ," said Rodri, while the Uruguayan added: " Good evening, everyone. Thank you for the love. A big hug! "
Meanwhile, Leo still has to visit Mumbai and the capital, New Delhi , where his tour ends. This is Messi's second visit to India, as he was there in 2011 with the national team to play a friendly match against Venezuela.
