Mohamed Salah risks upsetting his eldest daughter if he is to depart Liverpool . The Egyptian's Anfield future has been thrown into serious doubt after he spoke out against the club in the wake of the Reds' 3-3 draw with Leeds United .

Salah made a monumental splash on Saturday evening when he took relentless aim at Liverpool in a post-match interview claiming he had been "thrown under the bus" and that someone "does not want him at the club."

The 33-year-old only signed a new two-year deal in April of this year but with his ace played, it seems likely he could be on the move soon as January approaches . But if he were to leave England with his family, he might risk the wrath of his eldest daughter Makka.

When Salah put pen to paper on his new contract, which had long been the subject of speculation, he made it clear that whilst he and his family were glad to be renewing one of his children was exceptionally pleased.

"They feel at home," Salah told club media when detailing his family's reaction to his renewal. "They were very happy, [wife] Magi and the kids, they were very happy that we're staying another two years. It feels like home so everyone was happy.

"I think Makka was the happiest one in the family. She wanted us to stay. Of course we all wanted to stay but Makka because her friends are here and the school."

Salah's daughter Makka is 11 years old and he admits that she is settled on Merseyside and would have been reluctant to leave her close school friends behind earlier this year.

But rumours are now swirling on the back of Salah's outburst that he will leave sooner rather than later and the Saudi Pro League and MLS have been named as potential landing spots .

If Salah were to uproot his family and wave England goodbye, his eldest would likely not be best pleased to be leaving behind the bonds she has made in the North West.

However it must be said that with Makka turning 11 this year, it is assumed she could be heading into secondary school after this school year. This could provide the family with an ideal opportunity to relocate should it be the case that Makka is moving schools.

In his groundbreaking revelation, Salah did make it clear that he and his family will always be fans of the club regardless of what happens from now on. He also dropped a hint about their upcoming clash with Brighton .

"This club, I always support it. My kids will always support it. I love the club so much and I will always do," Salah admitted after the Leeds stalemate.

"I called my mum. You guys didn't know if I would start or not, but I knew. I said to them, 'Come to the Brighton game.' It doesn't matter if I am going to play or not, but I am going to enjoy it.

"We'll see what's going to happen. But in my head, I'm going to enjoy that game, if I play or not, because I don't know what is going to happen now. I will be in Anfield to say goodbye to the fans and go to the Africa Cup. I don't know what is going to happen when I am there."
