Louis Jackson: Solihull Moors confirm starlet has returned to Manchester United

National League outfit Solihull Moors have announced that defender Louis Jackson has sealed a return to Manchester United .

Jackson joined United at the age of ten and became the youngest player ever to feature for the club’s Under-23s, achieving this feat at just 15.

He was part of the team that won the FA Youth Cup alongside Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho.

The 20-year-old has also previously trained with the United first team. He made the move to Solihull on a season-long loan in the summer to gain valuable experience.

He turned out just four times for the club, who currently sit in ninth place in the National League standings.

A break clause was included in the agreement that sent him to the ARMCO Arena and Solihull have confirmed that it has been taken up.

An official Solihull statement reads, “Solihull Moors can confirm that Louis Jackson has returned to Manchester United following the end of his loan agreement.”

“Louis signed for Moors in a bid to gain valuable senior experience. Louis demonstrated his ability on multiple occasions, with a standout performance coming against Stratford Town in the Birmingham Senior Cup.”

“Everyone at Moors would like to wish Louis all the best for the future.”

Jackson now forms part of a group of recalled youngsters , which includes Toby Collyer (West Brom) and Sonny Aljofree (Notts County).

United also recently confirmed that Ethan Wheatley has been recalled from his loan spell in League One with Northampton Town.

Rich Fay of Manchester World notes that Jackson is expected to head out on another loan before the close of the month.
