The Blues and the Gunners agreed a £52million deal last week with the England international set to sign a long-term deal at the Emirates Stadium. While the deal is not official just yet, Madueke has now said his goodbyes as he prepares to leave Stamford Bridge. Taking to his Instagram page, Madueke posted a video of himself during his time at Chelsea, with the caption: "Dear Chelsea Football Club, I want to thank you for the last three [should be two] or so years. To every staff member that helped me along this journey, thank you. "To my teammates, thank you for everything, I leave with only love and admiration. We achieved so much this season and I honestly wish you guys nothing but the best. To Enzo Maresca, it was a privilege to play under you, thank you for trying to better me as a player and as a person. "Lastly, thank you to every single Chelsea fan. Thank you for the love, the praise and also the criticism, I appreciate it all. I leave here with nothing but fond memories. Love NM11." Madueke spent two-and-a-half seasons at Stamford Bridge and in that time he featured 92 times across all competitions, where he scored 20 goals and provided nine assists. Crucially, Madueke, who arrived in west London for around £30million from PSV Eindhoven, has established himself as a regular England international since being at the club. However, Madueke started to fall down the pecking order under Enzo Maresca . The form of Pedro Neto in the recently-concluded FIFA Club World Cup saw minutes difficult to come by for Madueke in the United States. He was given permission by Chelsea to fly back to London just a few days before the final and finalise a move to Arsenal.
