Maguire Blames Lack of Prep for Liverpool's Trophy-Less Season

Last season, even after the appointment of a new coach, the venerable Reds did not live up to the fans' expectations. They also lost the Europa League final to their English rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, leaving the tournament empty-handed without a single trophy in their hands.

The silence didn't last long, until the team's first captain, Harry Maguire , recently came out and spoke clearly about the reasons that made their season go so badly in the end.

For the captain, the main reason behind the team's failure to achieve the desired season was that the team did not receive sufficient preparation time under Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim.
