Man Utd fans all say the same thing after 10-man Everton win at Old Trafford

Manchester United fans have all been left saying the same thing after the Red Devils lost 1-0 to a 10-man Everton outfit. Idrissa Gueye was dismissed in extraordinary circumstances early in the match after slapping team-mate Michael Keane in the face, leaving Everton to play a man down for almost the entire game.
However, despite the advantage, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's stunning right-footed shot into the top corner sealed the win for the Toffees at Old Trafford, completing a shock result on Monday night. Everton had not beaten United at Old Trafford since 2013 and despite Ruben Amorim's side pushing for an equaliser through Bryan Mbeumo and Joshua Zirkzee, Jordan Pickford was able to keep a clean sheet and secure the famous win.
In fact, it was the goal that spurred life into United, who were lacklustre up to that point. Zirkzee, widely touted to leave the club next year, was given the chance up front in the absence of Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha, but was unable to make the most of his opportunity with the United midfield struggling to create chances for their striker.
The immediate reaction from United fans on social media has been fierce, with fans branding the loss as "embarrassing", with others revealing their disbelief at the result.
"Man Utd was embarrassing last night. The people involved in that squad should be ashamed of themselves. At home? A performance like that?" questioned one on X.
"Man Utd 0 - 1 Everton. Outperformed before the red card. Outperformed against 10 men. I have no words for what I just witnessed. Embarrassing," wrote another.
"When you already have a player advantage too. Embarrassing man," said a third supporter.
Coincidentally, it was also exactly one year since Amorim's first match in charge of United, with the pressure building on the Portuguese manager's job.

The result leaves United in 10th place after 12 games and means they have not won a Premier League game since their 4-2 victory against Brighton at Old Trafford last month.
Amorim has a tough test against Crystal Palace away from home this weekend, before encounters with West Ham , Wolves , Bournemouth and Aston Villa before Christmas .
