Mary Fowler: 'City has felt like home for me'

Mary Fowler has signed a new contract with Manchester City to keep her at the club until the end of the 2026/27 season.

The Australian is currently out injured with an ACL injury sustained in City's FA Cup semi-final defeat to local rivals Manchester United toward the end of last season.

"Really exciting," the 22-year-old said after signing her contract. "City has felt like home for me for quite a while now so to continue this journey with them, I’m really proud to do that.

"Enjoying my football is a big part of me playing well and City has created an environment where I can flourish.

"I love working with the girls who are here."

Fowler joined City in the summer of 2022 after having previously played for French side Montpellier . Since then the forward has played 87 times for the club, scoring 21 goals and making 22 assists.
