Mike McDaniel on Cholo Simeone: "He is the best in the business in his role"
T he Dolphins had their last training session open to the media at the Estadio Metropolitano , prior to the first official NFL game in Madrid on Sunday. Yesterday, Miami coach Mike McDaniel and Diego Pablo Simeone met at the Dolphins' training session and McDaniel revealed in a press conference what they talked about
"It was shorter than we would have liked. We talked about the salary cap (NFL) and how much a quarterback takes up in that cap. There are not many good quarterbacks, so that represents a challenge," McDaniel said at a press conference
He later praised Simeone's enthusiasm and called him "the best in the business in his role"
"I wish I could have spent more time with him; who knows where the conversation would led. I feel very fortunate to have been able to spend even a brief moment with him. He is probably the best in the business in his role. It was a pleasure for me; I wish I knew Spanish."

He also spoke about the curiosities and questions that Cholo had about the NFL: "He is very curious to know how many people we have in the squad: 53 players plus 16 from the practice squad, so 69 people. He finds it incredible."
