MLS clubs pushing to sign Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski, he is open to move

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski is considering joining a Major League Soccer (MLS) club this summer when his contract expires.

According to Florian Plettenberg , Lewandowski has very concrete options in the MLS . American clubs are pushing, and a move to the United States appeals to him.

The Barcelona ace also has other options, including Saudi Arabia or another challenging move within Europe.

He recorded 42 goals in 52 outings last term, but injuries and father time have derailed his momentum.

The 37-year-old has still managed 10 goals in 22 appearances this season, even as he enters the twilight of his career.

With his contract expiring, the time has come for him to draw the curtains on a successful spell in Barca during which he delivered 111 goals and 22 assists in 169 appearances.

However, it is worth noting that the Pole still looks capable of delivering at the highest level for another one or two seasons, particularly in a slower, more tactical league like Serie A .
