Official: Debutant included as Real Madrid name XI to face Alavés

La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Sunday unveiled the club’s starting XI to face Deportivo Alavés .
And it features several altogether noteworthy inclusions.
The headline name in Los Blancos’ line-up comes in the form of Kylian Mbappé , restored to starting duties after missing out against Manchester City in midweek owing to injury.
Even more head-turning, though, is the place afforded to youngster Víctor Valdepeñas.
Amid the ongoing injury crisis in Xabi Alonso’s squad, academy talent Valdepeñas has been handed his La Liga debut, on the left-hand side of defence.
Elsewhere, continuing at right-back amid the respective absences of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dani Carvajal is Federico Valverde .
Arda Güler also steps back into the middle of the park, whilst Rodrygo is rewarded for his starring performance against Man City on Wednesday with a spot on the right wing.
