Expected to join training this Wednesday, Kylian Mbappé was nowhere to be seen alongside his Real Madrid teammates.
Last Friday, Kylian Mbappé was excused from France’s last match in Azerbaijan (1-3) on Sunday. This Wednesday, Kylian Mbappé did not take part in Real Madrid’s training session. The striker did not make the trip to Valdebebas to have his ankle assessed, unlike Eduardo Camavinga and Dean Huijsen, who were also rested during the international break.
Real Madrid remains calm regarding the French forward’s condition. The Madrid staff has granted several days of rest to its international players. Mbappé is therefore expected back on Friday to rejoin the group, ahead of a likely start on Sunday against Elche.
