Revealed: The Premier League players walking a yellow card tightrope - who is a caution away from suspension at YOUR club and which surprise team have the most players at risk?

After the November international break the Premier League kicked back into life last weekend with goals and drama galore.

The top flight now heads into a hectic run over the winter period where teams face 10 fixtures in seven weeks.

Squad depth will be tested but one issue that always becomes pertinent at this time of the season is the threat of suspensions.

As per Premier League rules, players who pick up five yellow cards in their side's first 19 games receive a one-match ban.

After that period, the threshold moves to 10 yellows over the first 32 games, something that comes with a two-match ban. Anyone who accumulates 15 yellows in the campaign is suspended for three games.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Sasa Lukic and Lucas Paqueta have already served bans for picking up five yellow cards in 2025-26.

Cristian Romero's booking against Arsenal was the Argentine's fifth caution of the season

Meanwhile, Cristian Romero reached that point during Tottenham's 4-1 defeat by Arsenal on Sunday - and the Argentine will be unavailable against Fulham on Saturday.

There have already been 13 red cards so far in 2025-26, with Chelsea's three dismissals the most out of any clubs.

But, which players are at risk of missing one game as a result of picking up five yellows?

Daily Mail Sport has collated the data of every Premier League star currently on four bookings, yet surprisingly Chelsea have nobody in danger despite a poor disciplinary record.

The Blues are one of eight teams to not have anyone on four cautions, with six sides - Brighton, Burnley, Crystal Palace, Leeds, Nottingham Forest and Wolves - all having one player on the verge of suspension.

Elsewhere, Everton, Brentford, Liverpool, Man United and Sunderland each have two stars at risk.

Yet, it is Bournemouth who are in the most trouble, with Tyler Adams, David Brooks, Alex Jimenez and Marcos Senesi all currently on four bookings, meaning the quartet are just one yellow card away from a suspension.

Take a look at the table below to find out which players at YOUR club are at risk of a ban.
