The Best Awards 2025: Dembele and Aitana seek double crown

T his Tuesday, from 18:00 CET, the winners of the FIFA The Best Awards will be announced, with Lionel Messi and Aitana Bonmati as the favourites to become the best players of the year. Both are looking for a double crown after winning the Ballon d'Or in September.
The event will be broadcast live on FIFA's website from Doha , Qatar, in a gala that will take place on the eve of the Intercontinental Cup match between PSG and Flamengo at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium.
Among the nominees for the men's The Best award are Barcelona's Lamine Yamal, Pedri and Rapinha , as well as Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe and the players of the current European champion, PSG, Vitinha, Nuno Mendes, Oumane Dembele , current Ballon d'Or winner, and Achraf Hakimi
In the women's category, Barcelona players Patri Guijarro, Aitana Bonmati, Ewa Pajor, Claudia Pina and Alexia Putellas are nominated, as well as the Spanish Mariona Caldentey , European champion with Arsenal.
The award for Best Coach will also be presented, with Javier Aguirre (Mexico), Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Luis Enrique (PSG), Hansi Flick (Barcelona), Enzo Maresca (Chelsea), Roberto Martinez (Portugal) and Arne Slot (Liverpool) nominated.
