TNT Sports forced to apologise as CL coverage is interrupted by technical fault

TNT SPORTS had to apologise to viewers after their coverage of Manchester City vs Napoli in the Champions League was hit by technical issues.

The broadcast was interrupted by an issue that saw the coverage switch to the build up for Newcastle United vs Barcelona instead.

Fans tuning into TNT Sport 2 were left perplexed after Gianluigi Donnarumma's sit down interview was followed by the build up from St James' Park.

After quickly realising their mistake, a statement popped up on fans' screens that read: "We apologise for the technical difficulties. We return to Man City vs Napoli on TNT 2 shortly."

While after the issue was resolved, some 15 minutes on, presenter Reshmin Chowdhury said: "Hello welcome back everybody, we did have to leave you for a short while due to technical issues but we're back and so are they."
