3️⃣ things we learned from Barcelona's 4-0 victory in the Women's Clásico
Barcelona Femení reasserted themselves as runaway title favourites, defeating Real Madrid 4-0 in Saturday's Clásico.
After a flurry of chances for both sides, Ewa Pajor opened the scoring inside fifteen minutes off a low-driven cross from Clàudia Pina. Pajor would double the lead as she pounced on the goalkeeper's save to head in the rebound.
Following Cata Coll's late penalty save, Sydney Schertenleib and Aitana Bonmatí piled on the misery in second-half stoppage time to make it 4-0 to the hosts.
As a result, Barcelona went six points clear at the top of the Liga F , while Real Madrid dropped to third.

Until Barça sealed the match with two late goals, Ewa Pajor's first-half brace looked to be the difference between the two sides. It was the 28-year-old's first start in over a month, having been sidelined with a knee injury.
Yet, after a brace and another two goals which were narrowly ruled out, it's safe to say the Poland striker is well and truly back.
On the other side of the pitch, Cata Coll's performance in goal was just as decisive. In her 100th appearance for the Blaugrana, the 24-year-old made several clutch saves to keep Real Madrid at bay.
Most notably, Coll made a stunning diving save to deny Caroline Weir from the penalty spot.

While Barcelona Femení have long been a dominant force in Spanish football, there were small signs of hope for Real Madrid leading up to the match.
Last season, Los Blancos secured a 3-1 victory against Barcelona, ending a run of 18 consecutive Clásico defeats.
More recently, Barcelona's domestic invincibility has been called into question following a turbulent transfer window and a surprise 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad.
The Blaugrana, however, reaffirmed their Clásico dominance while extending their lead at the top of the table. Remarkably, Barcelona boast an aggregate score of 51-2 across the Liga F season thus far.

While Barcelona certainly showed their class, the final score perhaps does a disservice to Real Madrid.
Los Blancos created excellent chances throughout the match, leading to several nervy moments for Barça's defence. Caroline Weir was particularly unfortunate as she had an early goal ruled out for offside and missed a penalty late in the match.
If Weir gives her side the lead or makes it 2-1 in the 80th minute, both sides might have viewed the match differently.
In the end, Real Madrid were competitive, but lacked Barcelona's clinically.
