What do you get when you ask footie fans to create the ultimate Premier League player? According to a poll of 2,000 football enthusiasts, the ideal player is a mix of current stars and legendary figures. The survey, commissioned by OLBG, revealed that the perfect Premier League player would possess Mo Salah's left foot, N'Golo Kanté's work ethic, and Kevin De Bruyne's game intelligence.
Moreover, nearly one in six would endow their 'perfect player' with the wit of former Stoke and Liverpool striker turned podcaster and pundit, Peter Crouch. They'd also want the leadership skills of fellow broadcaster Roy Keane , from his heyday.

ake Ashton from the brand said: "Putting together these legends of the Premier League into one skin is such an interesting debate, as the options are endless. "The fans have spoken, but there were so many other combinations and great candidates on the table – some of the nominations could have gone either way."
Cristiano Ronaldo was also a top choice among fans who desire the perfect player to possess his dribbling skills and flair. The Portuguese icon, currently playing for Al Nassr, also topped the opinion poll for other attributes such as ball control and heading prowess.
It's no shocker that one in five football enthusiasts have crowned Ronaldo as the best all-round Premier League player of all time, given his multitude of skills. However, when it comes to passing, Kevin De Bruyne once again tops the charts, with former Chelsea ace N'Golo Kanté also getting a second nod for his exceptional tackling prowess.

When quizzed about what qualities are lacking in today's top Premier League players compared to past legends, loyalty to one club (44%) topped the list.

Jake Ashton added: "Seeing Cristiano Ronaldo at the forefront of fans' minds when it comes to characteristics which make the perfect player shows just how good he has been. Especially as he played in the same era as greats like Gerrard, Lampard, Scholes and Henry - all of whom, in their own rights, have been touted as some of the greatest ballers to play in the league.
