Fulham, whose trophy cabinet remains sparse aside from lower-league titles and the Intertoto Cup, suffered another disappointment in their pursuit of major silverware. Their wild 5-4 defeat to Manchester City was anything but typical, and Silva’s side has shown a knack for entertaining matches.

Indeed, Fulham have both scored and conceded in each of their last five matches in all competitions, and they’ve found the net in nine of their ten home games this season, only failing to score against title contenders Arsenal.

In contrast, betting on both teams to score in Forest’s matches has rarely paid off lately, with that outcome occurring just once in their last seven games across the Premier League and Europa League. That exception came in a 2-1 European win over FC Utrecht. Regardless of Monday’s result, Dyche’s team will remain above the relegation zone at Christmas.

Forest’s recent form under Dyche has been impressive, winning six of their last eight matches in all competitions, suggesting they could end an unwanted trend at Craven Cottage. Historically, Fulham have won all three of their Premier League home meetings with Forest by an aggregate score of 9-1—the worst 100% losing record Forest hold against any opponent away from home in the competition.
