Nicolas Jackson wants Bayern Munich stay - even after club chief ruled out transfer

Nicolas Jackson wants to remain at Bayern Munich beyond his season-long loan - despite Uli Hoeness claiming the striker will never be able to active the purchase option in his deal.

Jackson secured a move away from Stamford Bridge in the summer, only after persisting with the move. The Senegalese star jetted out to Germany to complete his move, only to be ordered by Chelsea to head back after they lost Liam Delap to injury. Jackson refused and landed his move to the Bavarians after Chelsea recalled Marc Guiu, with Bayern paying a £14.3million loan fee.

Hoeness went public with the details regarding the purchase aspect of the player's loan agreement and suggested that his loan move from Chelsea would "never" be made permanent due to the stipulations.

Jackson's loan to Bayern includes a £56.2m obligation to buy next season, but Hoeness claimed that would only be triggered if the player featured 40 times - something he said wouldn't happen.

He told Sport1 : "It's not a €16.5m loan fee, because the player and his agent are contributing €3m, so that leaves €13.5m and there will definitely not be a permanent contract. That only happens if he plays 40 games from the start. He will never do that."

Despite the odds being stacked against him Jackson, who has scored three goals in 12 appearances for Bayern, is determined to impress enough to earn a permanent switch. The Sun reports that he's loving life in Germany and wants to remain beyond this year.

A source told the publication: “Jackson has just come off an impressive international period where he scored twice for his country, and he made a big impression against Brazil the other night. Now he’s going back to Germany to continue helping the club, and I can tell you that is all he’s focused on, playing and helping the club achieve their aim of winning big trophies. At the end of the season, we will see what happens.”

Jackson scored 30 times across his two seasons with the Blues, but it became clear that Enzo Maresca was seeking upgrades in the summer. Joao Pedro was signed from Brighton and prior to that Delap was bought in from Ipswich - which saw Jackson fall down the pecking order.

At the Allianz Arena he is ultimately behind Harry Kane , who is the team's main striker. Bayern have enjoyed a sensational start to the season and Jackson could well end the campaign with silverware ahead of a summer of unknowns.
