Crystal Palace star Daniel Munoz has admitted that it would be a ‘dream’ to move to Manchester United . The Colombian right-back has shone for Palace since joining from Belgian side Genk in 2024.
The 29-year-old has gone on to amass 81 appearances for the Eagles, scoring on eight occasions. He has also helped the club claim the FA Cup and Community Shield.
Munoz remains under contract until 2028 but it appears that he is already thinking about the next stage of his career. Speaking to Spanish outlet AS , he has admitted that he has ambitions of playing for Europe’s biggest clubs, including United.
“First of all, I think there’s a lot of talk about one club or another,” he said. “If you ask me, it would be a dream to play for one of these clubs, whether it’s Barcelona , PSG , Real Madrid , or Manchester United.
“I think I’m working towards that. I strive every day to one day attract the attention of one of these clubs, because for me, it’s a dream to get there."
And while Munoz has not been afraid to hide his ambitions, he admits that a transfer will have to wait - albeit the January window remains a potential option. He added: “If you ask me, I don’t have concrete information any of these clubs are interested in me.
“My focus is on Crystal Palace . We’ll see when the winter transfer window gets closer.”
Munoz’s comments might give cause for concern for Palace and chairman Steve Parish. The Eagles have been forced to cash in on a number of stars over recent seasons including Eberechi Eze, Michael Olise and Joachim Andersen.

Captain Marc Guehi has also been linked with an exit and was close to joining Liverpool in the summer. The England defender is out of contract at the end of the season, with Palace now resigned to losing him for nothing.
A £35m deal was agreed with Liverpool , only for the Reds to pull the plug. Explaining that decision, Parish said: “So we needed to keep Marc because the difference between us having a stellar season and having a relegation threatened season is us winning five games or not.
“So the margins in the Premier League are very tight and you have to remember that Michael [Olise] has gone, we’re ok, Ebbs [Eberechi Eze] has gone, we’re ok, Wilfred went, we’re ok. There’s a limit to how much you can keep doing that before you break down the fabric of the team.”
