Napoli’s pursuit of midfielder Kobbie Mainoo is facing significant time pressure, with the deal currently held up by a decision from Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim.
According to information from Il Mattino and relayed by CalcioNapoli24, Napoli manager Antonio Conte is keen to secure the midfielder’s signature rapidly, having initially wanted the definitive “OK” at the beginning of the month.
The key obstacle now preventing the transfer from advancing is the final decision by coach Ruben Amorim regarding Mainoo’s immediate future at Manchester United . Despite using the Englishman in a very limited way, the Portuguese is yet to make a final decision about the player.
With the January window rapidly progressing, Napoli are reportedly running short of time to complete the operation and secure the reinforcement Conte desires.
