Manchester United academy graduate Tyler Fredricson has changed agents midway through the season in a move which could pave the way for a transfer this month, it has been claimed.

Fredricson, 21, is a promising centre-back who has risen through the ranks at United, though he has made just a handful of senior appearances to date, one of which was a start in the unfortunate League Cup defeat at the hands of League Two Grimsby Town back in August.

The young defender has been a regular on the bench for United this season. However, a new report which revealed the identity of his new agent speculates that he could soon be on the move .

The Sun claim that Fredricson's decision to join Murdock Sports Group from the Stellar agency is 'likely' to culminate in a transfer, though it is unclear if that would be in the January window or at the end of the season.

The agency is run by Colin Murdock, the group's founder, who came through the Manchester United academy himself back in the 90s. Former United midfielder Scott McTominay and Jonny Evans, a member of Michael Carrick's new coaching team, are also on Murdock's books, while his son is a goalkeeper in the club's academy.

Further changes in central defence could be on the cards at the end of the season following reports that United are looking to add a new player to their ranks with Nottingham Forest's Murillo of interest .

The 23-year-old, who joined Forest for just £10million back in 2023, has caught the eye significantly across the last two-and-a-half seasons and has previously been linked with both Chelsea and Liverpool , with The Mail reporting he is now on United's radar.

In terms of outgoings, former club captain Harry Maguire's future remains up in the air with his contract due to expire at the end of June. The same report claimed United were looking at new signings to prepare for Maguire's departure.

The England defender joined United for £80m back in the summer of 2019 in a deal which made him the world's most expensive defender.

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle ahead of the 2025/26 season, saving members £336 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.
