Man Utd 4-4 Bournemouth: United drop more points at home in Premier League classic
Manchester United and Bournemouth fought out an astonishing 4-4 draw at Old Trafford .
Ruben Amorim’s side dominated the first-half on Monday night but the Cherries sprung into life in the second-half, scoring twice in seven minutes to take a 3-2 lead.
United’s long-standing record of never losing a game having led at half–time looked in real jeopardy. But Bruno Fernandes netted a stunning free kick before Matheus Cunha drilled home his side’s fourth to restore their lead.
It was short-lived however and before long there was more drama as Junior Kroupi slotted home.
Bournemouth were closest to scoring a fifth in added time with Senne Lammens twice coming to his side’s rescue.
While United were excellent in spells, another draw on Monday night means they have dropped seven points in their last three home games against Everton, West Ham and Bournemouth.
A point lifts them to sixth, level on points with Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Liverpool.

Monday’s game was Bryan Mbuemo and Amad Diallo’s last before departing for the Africa Cup of Nations with the latter opening the scoring after 13 minutes, heading home from close range.
Despite the early dominance for the hosts, Antoine Semenyo drew the visitors level with a precise finish before Casemiro headed home on the stroke of half-time.

United were blown away in the opening stages of the second-half with Evanilson slotting home before James Tavernier drilled a free kick past Lammens.
Left rattled by Bournemouth’s fightback, United turned to their captain for inspiration with Fernandes curling a sublime free-kick home to level the game again.
With Old Trafford rocking, United had their lead again two minutes later with Cunha scoring his second for the club after good work from Benjamin Sesko, back off the bench after a recent knee injury.
But five minutes later, Bournemouth were level again through substitute Kroupi, keeping his cool to slot home.
